blogging book tag- because i have nothing else to do

I was looking through the archives of my aunt's blog just now and saw a post about a tag. She tagged everyone reading the post, so, even though it's now been at least 4 years since the post, I'm going to do it. The challenge thing is to grab the nearest book (at least 123 pages) and go to the 123rd page, 5th sentence, and write it on your blog. So here it goes. From "Son of Neptune" by Rick Riordan, :
"He desprately wanted to ask what it all meant--powers, gifts, blood of Pylos."
I wish the sentence was funny, like a lot of the sentances in that book, but it isn't.
